Responsibilities

• Work jointly with Product, Design, Business Intelligence, QA and Backend teams to deliver a best-in-class user experience to entertain millions of users
• Design/implement solutions that anticipate failure and corner cases
• Maintain detailed documentation on features, flows and processes
• Effectively communicate and document progress via Jira, Slack and Confluence
• Take ownership and responsibility for your work

Skills

• Experience with TypeScript and JavaScript development
• Development experience with non-browser environments including Smart TVs and embedded Devices
• Experience with Selenium / QA Automation
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience following and implementing software design patterns.
• Able to work with multiple scrum teams in an agile process.
• Experience with unit testing, test driven development, branching patterns and continuous integration / deployment
• Be an advocate for high quality software and excellent user experiences
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to facilitate conversations with business partners in project definition, business requirements definition and functional design sessions.
• Eye for quality and user experience
• Translate business objectives into software requirements

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years full-stack development experience
• 3+ years of HTML/CSS/JavaScript development experience
• 3+ years of React/Redux development experience
• Strong debugging skills
• Experience integrating REST APIs, ability to quickly pick up new APIs/SDKs
• Capable of working in a fast-paced Agile environment
• Consumer-Oriented, pays attention to details, regards user-experience a top priority
