Today, SRC Logistics, Inc. specializes in reverse logistics (we receive previously owned and operated engines and engine components), core management (we manage the inventory and warehousing functions for our customers), and warranty material management for customers in a variety of industries. We provide a fully integrated and customizable IT system (built in-house by our own team), offering dealer, suppliers, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) up-to-date sales and return data. Our services include Core management, finished goods distribution, warehousing, and transportation.

Your Role

The Director of Operations is responsible for managing a team of individuals and has a lead role in providing financial and operational support to the General Manager. The Director of Operations is fully responsible for assisting in formulating policies, managing daily operations, planning the use of materials and human resources, and maintaining inventory accuracy throughout the organization.

About the Job: 


  • Directly supervise the activities of 2-4 managers/supervisors and indirectly supervise 70-90 employees
  • Confer with department heads to coordinate warehouse activities based on sales, accounting, and human resources
  • Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity, set goals, and determine areas with cost reduction and program improvement opportunity
  • Manage Operations department financial and budget activities
  • Implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures
  • Participate in the onboarding process including interviewing, selection, and training of Supervisory personnel. 
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and material utilization and implement plans for improvement as necessary 
  • Champion education and awareness related to product flow, efficiencies, and absorption
  • Actively engage in performance management and talent development, including professional development goals, performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary action as needed. 
  • Meet with employees, customers, suppliers, and other guests of the Company as required to build and promote relationships
  • Establish and maintain ISO/QS procedures, work instructions, and inventory control systems to maintain inventory integrity

 Requirements Qualified Candidates will have: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field 
  • 3-5 years of upper level management experience 
  • 7-10 years of warehouse, manufacturing, or operations experience 
  • PREFERRED: Safety and/or ISO Committee or other certification classes are preferred.
  • Strong ability to build relationships. This includes responding to questions from a variety of people including senior leadership, managers, applicants, employees, and the general public. This includes being sensitive to others’ needs and feelings, being understanding and helpful to others on the job, maintain composure and keeping emotions in check.
  • Giving full attention to what others are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, ask questions as appropriate, and seek to find solutions.
  • Exercise sound judgement by considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions
  • Excellent oral and written communication as appropriate for the needs of the audience, including presentation and analytical skills
  • Organization skills including time management, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and prioritize 
  • Effectively use basic math to solve problems (addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division)
  • Solid computer proficiency with a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office & Windows based programs, including scanners
  • Must be extremely reliable, responsible, dependable, in order to fulfill obligations
  • Practice adaptability, with a growth mindset and willingness to learn
  • Embrace opportunities to expand personal competencies and capabilities through training & education
  • Engage and support Logistics’ safety culture and efficient operation of the business and maintain positive working relationships with employees across the organization. 


Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
