Job Description


To ensure all manufacturing/shop routers are created and released daily to meet production schedule. To process material transactions pertaining to receipt, disbursement, inventory and shipment daily in accordance with manufacturing and shipping requirements.


  • Performs data entry for all three shifts to include receipts, pick lists, issues to work orders and shipping documentation.
  • Generate GBO, Kan Ban, Floor stock requests and delivers paperwork to work center.
  • Maintains kit list by planning schedule date to ensure completeness and timely processing.
  • Prints shop packets and reprints for work orders in process.
  • Researches and assists in the resolution of discrepancies in material identification and inventory.
  • Performs general clerical duties as assigned by Purchasing & Planning Manager to support plant operations.
  • Corrects paperwork and BOM as indicated by ECO’s.
  • Works with Storeroom to clear material COGI error’s.
  • Enter material reservations for any materials to be shipped to the Customer at a later date.
  • TECO units for shipment and email all pertinent parties when complete.
  • Updates reports, weekly production schedules, and stock order schedules as required.
  • Participates on the Continuous Improvement teams.
  • Maintain shop monitors as directed by management.
  • Order department supplies to not exceed departmental budget.



  • Should be self-motivated, able to work with limited supervision
  • Ability to multi task. 
  • Administrative skills are necessary to include good computer skills with Microsoft Office products.  
  • The ability to interact proficiently with all levels of management and manufacturing employees in a professional manner is necessary. 
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and communication skills, both oral and written.

Required Education /Experience:

  • High School Diploma. With experience in a manufacturing office environment
  • Experience in processing workflow orders for the completion of a work product in manufacturing or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with using manufacturing ERP system, is a plus



Preferred Education / Experience:

  • Associates Degree with experience in a manufacturing office environment.
  • Demonstrate experience or aptitude for SAP commands related to job function.
