Job Description

The Customer Service & Sales Representative should be organized, responsible and trustworthy. Will work directly with customers to recommend products and services to fit their needs. Will be responsible for providing helpful information, answering questions, and taking orders. Will also assist with administrative support in order to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate administrative operations.

1st shift (8am-5pm), 1 hr. lunch
Pay: Depends on experience
Schedule: Monday – Friday (full day) & Saturday (half day)
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

At least 6 months experience in Customer Service and/or Sales
Bilingual: English/Spanish
Clearance of drug screen
Clearance of background check

Responsibilities & Roles (include, but not limited to):

  • Generating leads, and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Negotiation of contracts with prospective clients.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports
  • Preparing & submitting sales contracts
  • Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients
  • Basic clerical tasks and providing friendly customer service 
  • Operating office equipment, answering phones, taking and relaying messages
  • Faxing / Scanning
  • Sorting and filing paperwork
  • Use telephones to reach out to customers and verify information as needed
  • Identify and assess customer’s needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Assist customers by taking orders of product
  • Assists other department staff as necessary
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Perform other duties as required

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Customer Service experience (at least 6 months)
  • Sales Experience (at least 6 months)
  • Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Good time management skills
  • Previous produce industry experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset
  • Proficient skills in using computer-based systems, programs, and reports
  • Proficient in using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must satisfactorily pass a drug test
  • Background check clearance
  • Drug Screen clearance
  • Satisfy Form I-9 requirements
  • Produce industry experience preferred
