Job Description – Account Manager

The primary role of the Account Manager at Spherix Global Insights is to lead the sales strategy for identified accounts and to develop long term relationships with clients that result in the achievement of target revenues. This position is based out of Exton, PA.

Key Responsibilities
• Work with marketing and Franchise Heads to lead the account development
• Develop and execute a sales strategy for each target client
• Seek and drive new business opportunities within accounts
• Secure and participate in client meetings with Franchise Heads
• Maintain the sales pipeline in the company’s CRM system, PipeDrive for accounts
• Represent Spherix at meetings (clinical and industry) where the company has a booth
• Work closely with the Business Development team

Education & Experience
• 2+ years of sales and business development or account management experience; preferably with experience selling services to biotech and pharmaceutical clients
• Solid understanding and embracement of the Spherix Global Insights mission and business model
• Proven business acumen and track record in business/client development
• Experience developing an effective sales strategy at the client level
• Proven record of building productive business relationships, ideally with pharma-side clients
• Demonstrated ability to work without routine supervision and consistent track record of delivering against objectives
• Exceptional organization and presentation skills necessary
• Highly engaging and collaborative personality critical

Other relevant information:

• This position reports to the Business Development Manager
• Compensation package includes competitive salary and benefits (health, 401K), commensurate with experience, as well as variable compensation/bonus opportunity based on target sales achievements
• Hybrid position
