The Clorox Company of Canada has partnered with SPAR Canada Company, the national leader in third-party sales and marketing. Are you looking for a refreshing, challenging and rewarding place to work? Are you a skilled merchandiser with a passion for building and maintaining strong relationships? As a dedicated Field Sales and Merchandising Representative for The Clorox Company of Canada, you will be responsible for a territory (Mississauga/Brampton) and for fostering and maintaining long-term and trusted partnerships with retail stores managers and associates. You will establish expectations, drive sell-through within your territory and promote Clorox products and brands to increase sales and distribution. You will collaborate with the Clorox brand and retail team to develop and drive strategic initiatives to increase sales and market share.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Drive sales through the design and execution of a territory plan

· Achieve execution of strategic plans within your territory in all categories including planogram and POP placement

· Attend and represent Clorox at retailer trade shows

· Represent Clorox in a professional and enthusiastic manner and be a resource for Clorox continually looking for opportunities for brand awareness and increasing market share across Canada

· Update retail displays at store level

· Retailer and client relationship building through face to face, verbal and written communication

· Manage and track performance against assigned directives including prompt reporting and meeting KPI

· Maintain a highly visible in-store presence and be a key contact for Regional Managers, Store Managers and National Account Managers within the region

· Provide market intelligence and analysis of sales and territory metrics

JOB QUALIFICATIONS-EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

· Undergraduate degree in Retail, Business or Marketing

· Sales and merchandising background with proven sales success (3-5 years’ experience required)

· Category management experience an asset

· Exceptional relationship building, training and organizational skills

· Strong project administration experience

· Reliable vehicle is required as candidate will be travelling to stores, training events and trade shows

· Occasional weekend work may be required to attend events

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

· Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

· Team player, self-motivated and proactive

· Ability to work in fast paced & demanding environment
