Job Description

SoftPoint is the first fully integrated management system which was created to meet all the operational, management, corporate and consumer needs of a restaurant, hotel, or bar. Our software not only hosts traditional Point of Sales software but additional applications, mobile apps and consumer sites to manage a complete end to end offering. With over 100 applications that can fulfill a location needs, SoftPoint believes we can offer these services and further enhance what is offered today.

Purpose of the Role:

• The Onboarding Specialist role is a full-time opportunity that is the primary point of contact for all clients post booking by sales. The Onboarding Specialist is chartered with managing the relationship with the client to guide them through the already in place processes of the onboarding process. The Onboarding Specialist is also responsible for managing all communication with the client, resellers, and other 3rd party vendors, during the Go-Live phase. During this phase of the customer journey, the Onboarding Specialist works closely with the client, resellers, and other 3rd party vendors to bring the client live with SoftPoint software within 21 days of entering the boarding channel.

• Onboarding & Training: The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for setting up client databases. The Onboarding Specialist will configure the SoftPoint system to the customers' unique setup needs to maximize the benefits of their SoftPoint system and train the client and their staff on how to fully use and manage the SoftPoint system.

• Project Management: Leveraging their strong project management skills, the Onboarding Specialist will manage several onboarding engagements simultaneously using SoftPoint’s custom created onboarding system. Effective time management is an essential skill for all Onboarding Specialist as they are responsible for a large book of onboarding business and the restaurant industry is significantly time constrained.

• Bias for action; performance driven with the confidence to operate independently

• Excellent communication (written & verbal) and influencing skills Job

Requirements:

• Act as the SME (subject matter expert) for client-based questions.

• Responsible for managing all communication with the client, resellers, and other 3rd party vendors, during the Go-Live phase.

• Scheduling events from menu-building, system checks, integrations, onboarding consultation, installations, and trainings.

• Monitoring/responding to outstanding items in the queue, at times in multiple environments.

• Performing additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Boarding Manager.

• Provides software training to customers.

Background:

• 3 + years of experience in customer facing roles in technology industry recommended restaurant experience a plus.
