OVERALL ROLE DESCRIPTION:

A project manager at SOCIALDEVIANT is equal parts problem solver, strategic thinker, relationship builder, and taskmaster.

In partnership with our Account Leads, they will be responsible for the delivery of our integrated projects to ensure delivery excellence, speed to market, resource optimization, and profitability management. They’re focused on quality. And they know how to think through tradeoffs between time, scope, resources, quality, and risk.

Of course, they’re well versed in project management tools, systems, and processes, and are proactive in refining. They know how to work with a variety of disciplines both internally and externally (account, strategy, creative, production, etc.), and they thrive in fast-paced environments.

The ideal candidate is passionate about solving our clients’ problems with strategic and creative solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process & Workflow:

  • Responsible for developing and implementing key processes across clients, driving quality and consistency of work. This includes developing appropriate processes for driving timelines, budget tracking, internal and external reviews, and coordination with vendors/partners
  • Evaluate current processes and tools and recommend new opportunities to streamline
  • Oversee the implementation/creation of our project management tool (i.e., Monday.com) to ensure seamless use across all teams and projects

Resource & Financial Management:
  • Work closely with Account Leads, Creative Leads, our internal Producer, and our Operations Team to determine internal resource and financial allocations, ensuring that all jobs are managed on budget and within scope
  • Actively problem solve resource and budget gaps to ensure flawless and quick delivery

Execution of Deliverables:
  • Develop and own project plans (timeline, budget, scope of work, staff plan) spanning account, strategy, creative, and production
  • Accurately identify types of work and scopes, timing, difficulty of work, and define the processes necessary to get things done
  • Apply standard agency processes to client work and innovate new ways of working
  • Mobilize and drive integrated team towards forward progress, action, and results, effectively leading internal reviews and managing all appropriate tasks, and updates
  • Fully manage timelines and dependencies
  • Quickly and efficiently identify next steps and action items coming out of each meeting
  • Proactively monitor and control project execution with all team members throughout the process
  • Generate solutions to problems/snags that may arise during the course of a project
  • Adjust resource needs as appropriate
  • Conduct internal/external postmortems to identify ways to Improve and to replicate success
  • Directly communicate project changes and needs to clients and partners/vendors

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience with managing integrated accounts
  • Ability to take initiative, think independently, but know when to seek advice of supervisor and other team members
  • Effectively works both independently and as a team member; demonstrates autonomy over assignments while working towards goals shared by the team
  • Manages time for optimum productivity and understands appropriate time commitments on projects
  • Strong internal and client-facing communication, both written and verbal
  • Willingness to be both a "thinker" and a "doer", linking the two to create breakthrough campaigns
  • Agency experience required
  • Experience with Monday.com or other similar project and resource management tools a plus
  • Above all, kindness, composure, and relentless curiosity
