We are searching for a dedicated, supportive Practice Development Coach who can coach and motivate dental teams as they field calls from prospective patients. The Coach will assist in the training process, ensuring that every office team member is well prepared for their calls. They will continue to support staff after training by monitoring their progress, ensuring that they understand and meet expectations, answering their questions, and providing them with ongoing coaching opportunities and inspiration. To succeed, you should be analytical, supportive, and prepared to act as a resource to clients. You should be focused on helping dental office staff build necessary skills and knowledge so they can better support patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The SMC Call Team Coaches help train, support, and motivate dental office teams as they provide service to callers. Successful candidates will be courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful.

  • Hold virtual training sessions with dental teams on the following topics: Call Control, Building rapport, Increasing case acceptance, Increasing lead conversion rates and Instilling confidence in call handlers.

  • Create scripts for teams that will increase conversion rates.

  • Analyze data to show where the dental practices need improvement in answering their calls.

  • Training, and preparing office staff to respond to dental marketing leads.

  • Troubleshooting pain points that can arise with potential new patients.

  • Ensuring staff understands and complies with all call team objectives, performance standards, and policies.

  • Answering client questions regarding best practices or difficult calls.

  • Identifying operational issues and suggesting possible improvements.

  • Monitoring and evaluating call team performance, providing learning or coaching opportunities, and taking corrective action.

  • Preparing reports and analyzing data to assist management as they determine call team goals.

  • Working with other team leads and management team members to support clients and maximize customer satisfaction.

  • Building rapport with client teams in order to help them find value in constructive feedback.


Job Summary:

  • Salaried, full-time, remote position

  • Remote position with the ability to work anywhere.

  • Work a 9/80 schedule - This means you can have every other Friday off!

  • May reside in any timezone, but working hours should be between 8AM and 6PM.

  • Must reside in the United States.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Call center, customer service experience.

  • Dental office experience.

  • Proficiency with technology, especially computers, software applications, and phone systems.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of company products, policies, and services.

  • Proven track record to coach, train, and motivate employees and evaluate their performance.
  • Excellent problem solving, leadership, and customer service skills.

  • Excellent conversation skills.
    Preferred Qualifications
  • Marketing experience

  • Dental office management experience

  • Experience with CRM HubSpot

  • BA in communications or management
