We are looking for a highly motivated Salesforce Inside Account Executive to help bring in new consulting projects and to manage existing ones. Your main responsibility will be to be able to nurture the several hundred Account Executive relationships with Salesforce on all 5 levels - SB, GRB, Mid Market, General Business, and Enterprise. We already have many successful projects completed under our belts, and routinely meet with many Salesforce Account Executives on a regular basis both in person and and remotely.

This is a fast paced role in which we need someone with strong experience in the Salesforce world to continue expanding our footprint and bringing in consistent deal flow, preferably from GRB or higher level accounts. We have a very strong team of engineers, project managers, marketing, and management to assist along the way.

We're in Los Angeles, but you can be from anywhere in the country as long as you are open to regularly - 2x a month - meeting with Salesforce and/or clients for dinners, happy hours, and other events.

Moreover, as a seasoned Account Executive, you have an entrepreneurial profile, resilient and with excellent oral and written communication. You’re empathetic and know how to build rapport with Salesforce Account Executives and clients so that your relationships last.

We’re open to candidates with at least 4 years full time within technology sales, and former Salesforce Account Executives are strongly preferred since they understand the system! The most important quality is how dedicated and passionate you are in learning and working with Salesforce inside and out. Be prepared to consistently hit Trailhead to grow your wealth of knowledge to best work with the Salesforce team and the software itself.

Responsibilities

  •  Work directly with Salesforce Account Executives to drive pipeline through personalized outreach to multiple stakeholders within SMI's preferred verticals - Financial Services, Travel, Transportation & Hospitality, Fintech, Manufacturing, Retail

  • Conduct account based prospecting efforts to generate, qualify and arrange high impact business sales conversations with the Salesforce Account Executive team

  • Achieve or exceed goal for qualified monthly appointments

  • Provide world-class customer experience through every interaction

  • Help to build scalable demand generation campaigns based on data

  • Set up all incoming qualified opps in Salesforce

  • Set meetings with clients, using Salesforce Inbox

  • Set and take meetings with any 3rd-party vendors that are included in the implementation roadmap

  • Ask clarifying questions to the client in order to finalize level of effort for a Phase I

 

The Right Candidate: Experience & Attributes

  • 4+ years of experience of technology sales experience (Salesforce very strongly preferred, and/or Professional Services) former Salesforce Account Executives encouraged to apply

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce products

  • Willingness to consistently self-train via Salesforce Trailhead to be the best product expert you can be

  • Consistent track record of overachieving

  • Empathetic listener and persuasive communicator

  • A great attitude and love for teamwork
