Financial Business Analyst  will be responsible for capturing and analyzing variable cost and technical data and summarizing results in consumable formats that drive cost and performance optimization. This position will also develop functional and technical documentation in support of the overall program as well as assigned financial reporting and IT projects or tasks.



Job Responsibilities:   

    Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal

    Develop short and long term budgets and forecasts

    Analyze financial data and compose monthly, quarterly, and annual reports

    Independently research federally mandated technologies

•    Produce Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs)

•    Develop Course of Action (COAs) presentations with input from financial and technical    


•    Meet with government customers to document cost drivers applicable to financial models

    Work with administrative, financial, and technical resources to document information and   

     provide summaries and recommendations in a polished, professional presentation that is 

     consumable for a non-technical audience

    Support the project manager with project related activities such as ad hoc financial reports, 

     work instructions, and research findings 

    Support documentation of a gap analysis

    Lead other documentation efforts with inputs from administrative and technical resources

    Act as liaison between application owners (customers) and the administrative and technical 




Skill Requirements: 

•   Financial analysis and reporting

•   Business and technical writing skills

•   Proficient with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel


Preferred Requirements:

•  Experience with one or more cloud service providers 



     •    Bachelor’s degree preferred.
