The Automation & Orchestration Engineer supports the Information Technology (IT) Architecture and Engineering (A&E) by providing a combination of software and system engineering (SE) knowledge, skills, abilities, standards and best practices to implement modern and Next Generation (NexGen) IT solutions leveraging a wide array of vendors and technologies across the full stack: physical, networking, storage, virtualization, servers, applications, and services You must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with an After-Action Report (AAR) what action must be taken to address any issues. Follow up with the Project Manager (PM), Lead Engineer and teammates is critical to the success of the mission.

Job Responsibilities:

• 2 years of hands-on experience with end-to-end development of coded/scripted solutions using modern scripting languages (PowerShell, python) configuration, automation, orchestration, maintenance of enterprise-grade technologies, systems, applications, and services deployed across a multi-platform Windows, Linux & AWS information system code design and writing, testing, troubleshooting, code optimization, code deployment, code improvements, and documentation designing, engineering, implementing, and maintaining solutions in secure processing environments:
  • Working knowledge in Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Windows and AWS 
  • Working knowledge in utilizing Splunk to captures, indexes, and correlates real-time data in a searchable repository from which it can generate graphs, reports, alerts, dashboards and visualizations 

Skill Requirements:

• Splunk, Ansible or Ansible Tower, Bitbucket, ForcePoint, Jira, jMeter, Nessus, ScienceLogic, Tanium, ICAM and Citrix

Education:

• BS/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate within 120 days
• CompTIA Security+ CE
