We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our team! SGS, LLC is an Oklahoma based General Contractor / Design-Builder. We currently have openings for qualified personnel on a new commercial construction project located at various areas including in Fort Polk, Louisiana and Corpus Christi, Texas at the CCAD NAS. Responsibilities: Involved in all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation Ability to plan for and assign resources as applicable for projects Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors Management/Enforcement of SGS’s Safety Program and Security Policies Coordination and scheduling of all Subcontractors and/or Vendors Recruitment and efficient management of all on-site SGS workmen Maintaining inventory and efficient management control of tools and equipment Conduct regular progress and/or coordination meetings with trade subcontractors Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, government officials, etc. Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications Qualifications: Must have minimum of 7 years of experience as a Superintendent on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects Must have current OSHA 30-Hour and CPR/First Aid certifications Must be familiar with requirements of the EM 385 1-1, 2014 version 40Hr EM385 Certification and 24Hr Competent Person Certification; preferred Knowledge and experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, requires applicants to be of able body to assist in performing certain portions of the work, and to manage and schedule subcontractors Experience in working with and understanding Primavera project schedules is a plus Experience with USACE RMS software Thorough knowledge and understanding of construction means and methods Strong leadership qualities Deadline and detail-oriented Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 5 - 10 years Bonus/Commission: No
