ServingIntel, a leading technology solutions provider to the senior living and hospitality industries, is seeking a Strategic Marketing Manager. The Strategic Marketing Manager will take accountability for developing and communicating market strategy and tracking implementation.  Responsibilities include market segmentation, competitive analysis, marketing communications and lead generation.  Are you a marketing or strategy professional looking for your next challenge or the opportunity to transition into the software development sector?  This role provides the enviable position of directly impacting the strategic growth and transformation of ServingIntel into the leader in Senior Living transaction management by accelerating growth of strategic software products to grow reoccurring revenue.


·     Responsible for managing and conducting market research to enhance customer and market intelligence and assist the business in leveraging insights for competitive advantage. 

·     Accountable for planning and executing primary and secondary research.  Responsible for managing and integrating primary intelligence inputs from internal staff, customers, partners.

·     Conduct customer and market Intelligence tracking and management including ongoing competitor and market analysis.

·     Translate insights and intelligence into customer value propositions for sales and marketing communications while leading the creation of sales presentations. 

·     Develop differentiated market strategy based on internal strengths and opportunities, sustainable competitive advantage, customer value, and profitability.

·     Establish strategic initiatives and manage execution through leadership of Objectives and Key Results

·     Identifying and resolving resource and skill gaps to improving capabilities and performance

·     Collaborate with sales on customer selection and management by managing lead generation and conducting marketing qualification of target customers.

·     Identify and define market segments including, supply chain, competitive environment, customer needs, technology, and Industry trends.

·     Aligning marketing activity with the go-to-market strategy (GTMS) including developing brand and messaging platform, marketing plan/budget, and plan execution and measurement.

·     Manage prospect lead management and qualification

·     Direct marketing communications for effective brand management and direct sales support.

·     Includes supervisory responsibility for marketing resources and reports directly to the President.


·     Market Expertise skills: The ability to understand and apply industry/market knowledge in customer communications in terms of macro drivers, significant trends, and strategic directions.

·     Customer Research skills: The ability to leverage published and internal information to identify unique market and customer needs to determine optimal customer value propositions.

·     Solution Creation skills: The ability to translate products and services into one integrated and unique solution to address customers’ business problems or strategic initiatives.

·     Thought Leadership skills: The ability to think “Out of the Box” to bring creative answers to customers as a strategic resource by assisting in the setting and meeting of their business goals and objectives.

·     Relational Partnering skills: The ability of building and maintaining long-term, valued relationships with targeted individuals that yield favored and privileged support for market impact.

·     Executive Relational skills: The ability to establish, maintain and protect relationships with appropriate senior management individuals.

·     Teaming skills: The ability to select, recruit, develop, and coalesce commitment of internal resources.

·     Financial Business skills: The ability to creatively use financial tools, models, and concepts.

·     Presentation skills: The ability to present solutions in an engaging manner that captures and maintains the attention and imagination of the audience to gain commitment.

·     Business writing skills: The ability to convey business concepts in a concise and compelling way.

·     Forecasting skills: The ability to compile forecasts that accurately identify the potential sales funnel for sales revenues, including product mix, timelines, and resources.

·     Other critical skills include decision making, critical thinking, and customer focus

·     Minimum five years’ previous experience in a research-intensive sales, marketing, or strategic planning capacity.  Previous experience in a consulting environment is desirable.

·     Must work well in dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and demonstrate a high level of initiative and perseverance.

·     Proven sales and/or marketing impact.

·     Experience working with a CRM system; ConnectWise preferred.

·     Expert level skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

·     BA/BS degree or equivalent.

·     Ability to travel as required (less than 10% anticipated).

·     This is a full-time position with base pay and performance-based all-Company quarterly bonus.
