SERV Behavioral Health System, Inc. is a private statewide, not-for-profit behavioral healthcare organization serving adults and children working to recover from a serious mental illness or cope with a developmental disability.
Primary duties include maintaining an active caseload, conducting intake assessments and providing individual, group, and family therapies to people with mental health and substance abuse issues. The ideal candidate is expected to work collaboratively with other treatment team members across a variety of disciplines internally and externally to ensure the most effective treatment plan for the consumer. Will work with evaluator to collect and analyze data to drive positive outcomes using evidence based practices.
• Conduct individual, family, group therapy to improve mental health
• Ability to establish rapport with consumers
• Prepare treatment plans and assist consumer in achieving treatment goals using various therapeutic clinical techniques.
• Knowledge/credential in EBPs a plus
PH.D in Social Services, Human Services, or related field or Master’s degree in a relevant field, with two years’ experience in mental health and substance abuse counseling. LCADC is required.
