Senior Network Engineer

As part of a proposal effort, SCi is looking for resumes for an experienced senior engineer. Must have an active secret clearance!

Responsibilities:

• Enhance, operate, and maintain virtual lab environments
• Perform routine procedures to maintain environment availability
• Provision isolated lab environments to support developers and engineering teams
• Introduce automation to provide more self-service features
• Implement hardware and software changes to enhance the environments
• Design and develop new IT services

Required Skills

•           Proficient with Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, and Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP

•           Comprehensive knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMWare

•           Knowledge of BigFix and McAfee ePO/VirusScan

•           Knowledge of Linux/UNIX system administration

•           Knowledge of AWS and Azure services and connection routes

•           Knowledge of security processes including malware and  patch management

•           Understanding of IT Service Management processes

•           Experience analyzing, implementing and testing security standards from NIST and DISA.

•           Experience with troubleshooting, conducting root cause analysis and developing corrective action plans

•           Fluency with load balancing, high-availability and disaster recovery scenarios and products

Desired Skills

• Experience designing, implementing and maintaining a Citrix virtual desktop infrastructure environment comprised of NetScaler (ACD), Nutanix and Acropolis components
