Full Time Project Manager SAS

You oversee the planning and partner directly with our customer on identifying the scope of the project and in-store execution. Not an analyst? The Merchandising Project Manager is responsible for the execution and compliance of category planograms for all new stores, remodel stores, and refresh initiatives, as directed by the Director of Retail Merchandising.

  • Responsible for execution of accurate space allocation, category adjacencies, and category schematics at store level
  • Manage corporate standard Merchandising Requirements for shelf sets – shelf/product height, pack-out standards, fixture requirements, etc.
  • Communicate neighborhood/store level consumer needs and opportunities to Space Management and Category Management​​​
  • Educate Store Merchandisers and Store Operations on the benefits of consumer-centric schematics and the need to update and refresh with new and high potential items
  • Provide feedback from Store and Field Operations to Director of Retail Merchandising regarding assortment or schematic issues that may arise


  • Previous Retail Set Execution Experience Preferred
  • An understanding of Space Management, Shelf Management, and Aisle Management Preferred
  • Ability to travel, overnight hotel stays may be required

Position Summary


The Project Coordinator provides support to the ARTS and Retail teams with planning and execution of projects, initiatives relating to deployment of wireless handhelds/tablets, and update Retail technology systems to include: mobile CRM, supporting database systems, CRM reporting, and BI dashboards. Responsible for cultivating lines of communication and coordinate the completion of project activities primarily between the ARTS, Retail, and IT departments.


Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate project update meetings and workshops including note taking, identifying risks, and documenting action items during all phases of projects
  • Assist with the planning and execution of projects including creating project plans
  • Follow-up with project team members regarding open activities, action items, and coordinate the hand-off of deliverables between project team members
  • Prepare project status reports

Minimum QualificationsMinimum Qualifications


Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience


(Preferred): Membership and involvement in local PMI Chapter preferred

  • CPG or Retail industry experience preferred
    Experience with deploying wireless handheld, tablet, or slate technology preferred
  • Prior experience managing small-to-medium size projects up to 150 tasks preferably using MS Project or similar project tool
  • Prior experience coordinating activities for managing small project teams

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
