Part-Time Call Center Representative

Job Summary:

SAMI-Aid is in search of a professional Call Center Representative to act as a liaison with customers, physicians, and SAMI-Aid partners, finding solutions to customers’ healthcare problems as they arise. Call Center Representatives direct calls, identify customer needs, troubleshoot account issues, manage data entry and retrieval, handle over-the-phone payments, and offer support to customers struggling to navigate the healthcare industry. As a Call Center Representative, you will seek to create a positive customer experience, making each caller feel supported and valued. This will be attained by maintaining a friendly demeanor and giving each customer a polite, efficient, and accurate response that adheres to SAMI-Aid’s mission, values, and policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications/Skill Set:

•Customer-focused attitude

•Polished verbal and written communication skills

•Professional phone manners

•Attention to detail

•Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively

•Ability to remain objective and composed while under pressure

•Data collection and management skills

Preferred Qualifications/Skill Set:

•Familiarity with HIPAA Privacy Rules

•Familiarity with the U.S. healthcare and health insurance industries

•Spanish-speaking

Required Experience:

•1-3 years of Teleservices experience

•1 year of Customer Service experience

Required Education:

•High school diploma or GED. College degree is preferred.

Job Type/Benefits:

•Part-time (10-15 hours per week) on weekend days and some weekday evenings
