This is a full-time , remote position, working collaboratively with colleagues across the US and Europe.

Who You Are: We are looking for a Senior C loud Engineer to plan, design and develop cloud-based applications. You will work collaboratively with a team of software developers to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the internal team and our clients. Not only can you help us connect the dots and evolve our cloud capabilities over time, but you're also evolving your abilities as an engineer and keeping an eye on developments that can support our expansion-and help us implement those, too. You utilize creativity and curiosity to drive new efficiencies, improvements, and enhancements. As a forward-thinker, you are driven by orchestration and automation while always thinking of ways to automate processes.

What you bring to the team:

• Advanced experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with container orchestration tools such as ECS or Kubernetes
• Extensive knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
• Hands - on experience with projects that are microservice and server less driven
• Strong awareness of networking , internet protocols , and infrastructure security
• Guid e teams concerning emerging cloud technologies and supporting resources
• Collaborate directly with the team, stakeholders, and clients in the design, integration, and implementation of cloud-based solutions
• Have a working knowledge of industry trends and technologies
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use critical thinking and sound judgment
• Solid understanding o f agile practices and DevOps
• Understanding of automation using Jenkins
• Proficiency i n German is a plus but not required for success

S44 believes in a culture of transparency and equity for all employees. The pay range for this position is $127,000-$162,000 annually for US based employees. Additionally, employees may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus. This pay range is based on a market data analysis, if you are hired at S44, actual compensation will be determined on many factors including skills, education, and/or experience.
