Job Type: Sales Account Manager

Location: Bridgewater, NJ (Must be U.S. based). Job will be partially remote until pandemic environment changes but will require in-office training.

Required education: Bachelor’s Degree.

Experience: 2-3 sales experience.

Must have experience using Microsoft Excel

An educational books and materials company is looking for a mid-level, sales account manager to join our team. 

As an account manager you will support field-based representatives across the US in their efforts to sell classroom library materials to schools and districts. This role is part of an account manager team and reports into the VP of Sales and Marketing. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Filling out custom classroom library requests for our internal team to build
• Creating customer facing sales quotes
• Submit requests for marketing flyers
• Enter purchase orders
• Follow-up on orders in process
• Fill out applications for RFPs and open bids

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years proven sales track record (inside or outside sales experience).

Maximizes sales with excellent customer service.

Successful history of account development and growth.

Sourcing experience.

Obtaining purchase orders and bill of materials creation

Generate sales estimates/quotes

Finalizing and tracking sales orders through fulfillment

Experience in submitting RFP and Open Bid

Quick learner who can pick up sales best practices.

Strong attention to detail, organized, ability to be flexible, works well with others to get any task done that supports the business.

Ability to multitask while focusing on closing the sale.

Strong business communication skills.

Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills a must (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s).
