The Property Preservation - Valuations Coordinator is a Temporary Position and is responsible for performing valuations processing functions related to valuation orders and fulfillment of the orders for Rushmore Loan Management System servicing operations.

  • Processes new valuation requests in Rushmore’s proprietary valuations system from the following sources: weekly investor updates, daily task/event driven orders, pre-foreclosure reporting and ad-hoc requests

  • Monitors and follows up daily on outstanding and past due orders

  • Handles correspondence and requests from valuation service providers

  • Follows up with property preservation vendors or Loss Mitigation Account Resolution Specialists (ARSs) to cure access issues

  • Locates and provides documents for internal use and for outside valuation service providers

  • Researches assessor records

  • Assists in updating and development of department policies and procedures as it relates to Valuation (BPO and Appraisal) ordering and processing

  • Assists in various ongoing projects that would include property type reconciliations

  • Assists Management by providing feedback on vendor performance

  • Performs other duties as assigned by management

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with excellent time management and organization abilities are necessary

  • Demonstrate sound judgment and decision making

  • Self-motivation required for accomplishing goal/project oriented work with minimal supervision

  • Ability to effectively interact and communicate with management, peers, and third party vendors

  • Capable to work, anticipate, and adopt tactics in a changing business environment with multiple priorities

  • Previous experience in Property Preservation, REO, Appraisals

  • Experience using MSP

  • Desire to work in a high-pressure, fast paced environment


  • High School Diploma required

  • Bachelor degree preferred

  • Must have previous Property Preservation experience


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Proficient with spreadsheet and database software/applications

  • Understands Internet, Intranet and client/server data sites
