Construction Accounting/Executive Assistant
Rushing Group is seeking a dynamic person to join our construction team. This is a great opportunity to work as an Construction Accounting/Executive Assistant for a construction company located in Salem Oregon
To provide accounting and executive level project support to the Project Manager, performing routine activities under general supervision and within defined procedures. May have regular contact with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and company employees outside the immediate work area.
Monday-Friday (hours TBD). 32 hours a week.
A/R & A/P
Completes simple paper filing activities.
Prepares files for archiving.
Performs scanning and electronic filing
Assembles documents (reproduction and collation).
Performs basic word processing and data entry.
Maintains project calendar.
Arranges project-related meetings
Generates or distributes reports using various business systems and databases to internal project team.
Generates simple documents, such as letters and memos.
Maintain personal calendar for project manager.
Route and track invoices.
Creates expense reports for project team members.
Coordinates project communications.
Individual contributor with no subordinates.
Performs other general clerical duties as needed.
Preferred Skills, Education, Experience:
5+ years relevant experience preferred
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Strong computer skills
Construction, Property Management and Real Estate experience preferred but not required.
Contract preparation and management
Executive level, detail orientated, organized, experience w/ contracts, accounting and office management
Preferred Competencies: MS Word skills, MS Excel, MS Outlook skills, QuickBooks
Spelling and grammar skills
Attention to detail and reading comprehension
Communication skills, including Verbal and written skills
