Job Description

Royal Paper is currently seeking a Order Management Specialist to support our operation at our West Buckeye Road location in Phoenix, AZ. This position requires an experienced, energetic, and detail-focused individual who wants to be a part of our growing team.


  • Receive customer purchase orders via multiple inbound process’ established by customer
  • Examples àelectronic downloads from MAPADOC, EDI, SPS, email / e-fax receipt of order
  • Enter details into SAGE creating a Sales Order
  • Review PO for order accuracy and consistency

§ Bring out-of-standard quantity orders to Sales attention

  • Manage and Compare PO pricing with SAGE pricing for accuracy
  • If customer pricing is off, communicate with customer & sales for correction
  • If SAGE pricing is off, communicate with sales
  • Confirm pallet configuration and truck load quantities & request changes as needed from customer
  • Manage changes while informing and helping our customers be successful
  • Manually adjust dates as needed to meet customer specific lead-times
  • Work closely with production for any needed pushes or substitutions
  • If customer requires PO acknowledgement, provide via customer preferred method
  • Follow up on open orders as customer inquiries come in
  • Maintain communication as a liaison between sales and the customer
  • Key role in frontline communication with the customer
  • Become cross trained with customer service specialists to understand that role and be able to assist if needed
  • Understand production scheduling process and how this role can positively influence

  • Possess a growth mindset – continually looking for process improvements/simplification
  • Demonstrates great communication, even when faced with upset customers
  • Must be dependable, hardworking, and independently driven
  • Need to be proficient in Microsoft Suite (Office, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Flexibility to take on added responsibilities as necessary will be needed as Royal continues to grow as a company
