Job Description

Responsibilities:

This position is based in our Raleigh office headquarters. The core duties of this role include designing and implementing complex networks, troubleshooting and diagnosing network issues, and providing technical and consulting support. This role will be responsible for providing technical consulting with extensive knowledge of support, products, applications, best practices, and technologies and how these technologies interact. The IT Support specialist will remotely troubleshoot and diagnose switching, routing, and wireless network issues. This role will work across technical disciplines, critical client problem management, and defect isolation and resolution. The IT Support Specialist will collaborate with the sales, implementation, and management teams to ensure field product readiness. This role will perform tasks using formal network design, implementation, development, and support methodologies specific to industry standards and departmental procedures.

Requirements:

Previous work experience diagnosing server or network alerts, events, and issues. Ideal candidates should have a general knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques. Candidates must be detail oriented, have excellent organizational skills, with the ability to change tasks quickly in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must effectively communicate in a professional manner and demonstrate exceptional time management skills. The ability to work various hours at night and on weekends as necessary around job schedules is a requirement. Candidates should have 5-7+ years network support, design, implementation, or support experience.
