Production Summer Internship

Roto is looking for creative thinking engineers to join our 2023 Summer Intern Cohort!

We're a world-class design and fabrication firm specializing in experience design for museums, aquariums, immersive attractions and more. Production interns split time between working with our professional studios on active Roto projects and collaborating together on their own self-determined experience assignment. Interns will work alongside our production team to preform an array of prototyping, fabrication, assembly, integration, testing, and documentation duties involved in the making of mechanical/electrical components and systems required to produce "hands on" interactives and interpretive displays.

Receive exceptional work experience, mentoring, portfolio-building and full-time pay starting at $15/hr.

Areas of focus:

• Mechanical or electrical engineering
• Electromechanical technology
• Fine arts with a focus on art and technology

Internship requirements:

• Quality portfolio
• Demonstrated skills in Sketchup, Revit, or AutoCAD are a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Hardworking, curious, and desire to learn
• Diversity of backgrounds and perspectives are strongly encouraged

Compensation: $15.00 per hour
