Job Description:

The Lead Legal Assistant is responsible for daily operations of a fast paced environment. The selected candidate will support and assist with related functions of the foreclosure process that include, management of process, monitoring timelines, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, and ensuring adherence to state, federal and client guidelines. The Lead Legal Assistant will assist in development and maintenance of policies, procedures and reports related the department.

Essentials Responsibilities:

  • Monitor workflow to ensure that appropriate levels of productivity and customer service are met.
  • Support foreclosure team to ensure department standards and client objectives are met
  • Lead staff to ensure compliance with firm's policies and procedures.
  • Help develop and implement foreclosure policies, procedures and training guidelines ensuring that they are carried out according to established requirements.
  • Ensure client guidelines and requirements are followed ensuring that compensatory fees or penalties are not incurred.
  • Analyze reports to identify and monitor trends for the foreclosure department.
  • Audit daily performance logs to improve process and productivity levels.
  • Meet contractual time lines through monthly audits of client referrals.
  • Review and respond to client reports regarding performance measures.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent industry related experiences.
  • 5+ years working in legal industry.
  • 2+ years of management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent ability to train others.
  • Excellent tea building skills.
  • Superb organizational skills.
  • Experience preparing for and participating in audits.

Additional Information

Our office hours are 9-5:30 M-F, all candidates must be able to work these hours.
