This position is primarily responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience by crafting and mixing beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic to guests visiting Rosa Ristorante by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Management reserves the right to change duties with or without notice.
§ Understands the culture within Rosa Ristorante.
§ Responsible for knowing all health and safety procedures.
§ Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
§ Know the menu, the food, and the multiple choice selections within the beverage choices, including how to sell and pair those items.
§ Inform all customers of specials, options, and seasonal menu information. Answer customer questions and take their order timeously and efficiently.
§ Enter the order into the point of sale system (POS) as soon as possible after taking the customer order.
§ Deal with money transactions from the customers and cash out procedures at the end of your shift.
§ Make and ensure the servers have received their customer drinks. Know which liquor to provide for complimentary / VIP customers.
§ Come to work dressed in appropriate uniform, with their shirts, shoes, pants, or skirts both clean and ironed.
§ Check back timeously to see when their food is ready, ensure to garnish the drinks and food accordingly.
§ Speak with other bartenders regarding rotational flow and how to best ensure all the guests have the optimum dining experience at Rosa’s. Work as a team to manage the drink orders and serving for guests at the bar.
§ In charge of ensuring the visual appearance of the bar, arranging of glassware for an attractive display.
§ Complete daily side work and sign it off accordingly, as well as, replenish daily liquor stock. Sign off on inventory of liquor supply.
§ Notify all customers of the Rosa experience ensuring all customers have the option to be involved.
§ Shift changes must be communicated to management and/or each other with prior approval.
§ In the event of a health check, be prepared to assume responsibility until management arrives onsite.

§ Be a team player, self-starter, and self-motivated
§ Two (2) years previous experience in a high-end or gaming environment serving cocktails and three (3) years minimum serving experience and/or have worked in a restaurant front or back of house.
§ Required to keep current TAM card and HEALTH card, along with all other relevant documents according to Federal and State law.
§ Ability to work in a fast paced environment, while be personable, energetic, and handle pressure well.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively in front of groups of customers and/or with employees in the restaurant.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: Point of Sale (POS) software systems, Internet Software; and Electronic Mail Software (emails).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, lift liquor bottles, glassware, trays, plates, and move kegs from ten (10 pounds) to up to fifty (50) pounds, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand and walk for a period of an eight (8) hour shift. Vision abilities required, include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
