Job Description

The Proposal Writer will be responsible for:

  • Managing the preparation of proposals from pre-RFP activities through proposal submission in the federal space.
  • Read and understand complex federal RFPs and write federal proposals, outlines, and templates
  • Create requirement matrixes for proposals, obtain and manage past performance records, derive proposal format from solicitation.
  • Works closely with teammates and subcontractors to develop proposal content, monitor proposal progress and ensure the proposal is submitted on-time
  • Design, write, revise, and/or edit the technical content for RFI, RFP and RFQ responses
  • Build templates based on the RFI, RFQ, or RFP requirements
  • Gather, analyze, and compose complex technical information for technical approach sections of federal proposals.
  • Create proposal outlines and schedules and develop kick-off briefs for both internal and external audiences.
  • Schedule content checks, color reviews; Consolidating and formatting master documents for each volume for each color review.
  • Review proposal sections for consistency and clarity, compliance with RFP/RFI/RFQ requirements, and alignment with proposed solutions and themes.
  • Provide formatting, proofing, and editing of documents throughout the response cycle.
  • Review and edit all incoming and out-going documents for technical accuracy in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Experience responding to GSA Schedule Task orders (GSA IT and PSS Schedules)
  • Full life-cycle proposal experience

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in winning contracts for Oasis, CIO-SP3, Eagle, GSA Family
  • Five years’ of experience in full life cycle proposal writing for Federal Government RFP's
  • Five years’ experience editing or technical writing experience preferred
  • BA/BS preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Must be proficient in written communication and technical documentation.
