A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COMMERCIAL PROJECT MANAGER

In this project management position, you help ensure all roofing projects are completed on time and on budget. For each project, you are actively involved from beginning to end. While overseeing the activities of project superintendents, you also manage digital projects in the customer relations management (CRM) system and ensure proper materials are on-site when needed by coordinating deliveries. You correspond with the permitting department and prepare schedules that maximize productivity. As needed, you meet with the site manager to resolve issues as well as respond to client questions. When on-site, you assess damages, take pictures, and monitor the crew's work to make sure everyone is following our policies. You also conduct and maintain payroll for subordinates.
