Rogers Motors in Lewiston Idaho has full-time opening for a Service Business Development Center Associate at our Toyota dealership.

The Service BDC associate is responsible for reaching out to previous customers in our primary market to help schedule customers in for current service needs or to address outstanding recalls.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

General:

  • Maintain Toyota Loyalty and Engagement Rating in the top 10 in the region or higher.
  • Become proficient at BDC Angel management system and use it daily to identify customers that haven’t been into the dealership within the last 6 months and engage those customers to schedule appts.
  • Assist all Service and Parts personnel as it relates to the scheduling and interaction with inbound phone service customer activity.
  • Become proficient at Autoloop and Dealertrack to help schedule services
  • Ensure that all documents are accounted for.
  • Communicate any customer concerns or dissatisfied customers with the Service manager
  • Accomplish the forecast that has been established by the general manager and service manager.
  • Ensure all open RO’s or work in process be kept up to date.

Customer-related:

  • Greet in-bound Service phone customers in a timely, friendly manner.
  • Communicate with Service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problem(s).
  • Assist in the scheduling of appointments using dealership computer applications and tools.
  • Obtain customer and vehicle data.
  • Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications, using maintenance menus (if applicable).
  • Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in process and appointments.
  • Support dealership Service Manager, Service Advisor, and Parts department regarding appointments and customer requests or feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or the equivalent. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Two years experience in customer service related role (does not need to be automotive related). General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations. Professional personal appearance. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
