MyPath is focused on paving economic pathways for BIPOC youth and young adults from low-income... communities. MyPath partners with city agencies, national youth nonprofits and financial institutions to embed youth-friendly banking, saving and credit-building into experiences where youth are earning money.

Our results and best practices have spotlighted the power of first paychecks as opportunities to engage youth in financial capability and have been published by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, the Journal of Consumer Affairs, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and others.The Guaranteed Income Program Director will lead the design, development, and implementation of the nation's largest guaranteed income program for young people, in partnership with UCSF and our Community Working Group. Funded by the NIH Commons Fund, this pilot program and study will engage 300 Black young adults and examine the impact of guaranteed income paired with optional financial capability supports on mental health, financial and economic well-being. We are currently designing a new tech platform, MyPath NEXT, through our Wealth Equity Lab and advancing a youth-designed Youth Economic Bill of Rights, in addition to launching this guaranteed income pilot.The MyPath team is a vibrant, small but mighty staff with talent and passion for this new phase of work, and ready to welcome new team members in the coming months.

This new role is part of an expansion in our staff that includes three other key roles to support this next phase of our growth.ResponsibilitiesEngage MyPath's project team, partner organizations, contractors and CommunityWorking Group members in a planning and design process to build and refine strategies for outreach, onboarding, payment, and delivery of financial capability supports and guaranteed income to program participants.Develop a program delivery and monitoring plan that meets the objectives of the pilot program, and the MyPath and UCSF grant deliverables.Develop work plans utilizing Teamwork, MyPath's project planning software, to assign tasks and responsibilities to MyPath Staff, and monitor progress and completion.Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in the design and implementation phases of the program and guide the MyPath and UCSF teams in addressing them.Lead the engagement of the 15 member Community Working Group, comprised of Bay Area CBO staff and young adults in providing feedback and input on the design and monitoring of the program throughout the course of the project.Monitor and respond to new developments and feedback, and identify emerging lessons and insights to be shared with the field.Support the collection of data and regular evaluation to surface lessons and insights to be shared with the field, and to inform the ongoing delivery of income and mentoring.Identify opportunities for collaboration or learning from external partners, keeping informed of developments and news in the guaranteed income and youth financial capability fields.Partner with communication team to provide content, messaging and updates to increase visibility and media related opportunities.Qualifications5-7 years of experience in a programmatic leadership role, preferably in the financial capability or youth development field.Demonstrated success in building a new program or project over multiple years.Demonstrated ability to lead in a collaborative way (examples include coalition building, stakeholder engagement, etc.).Experience leading design processes that engage a variety of stakeholders within and outside of an organization.Experience with data collection and analysis, Salesforce experience preferred.Demons
