- Field incoming help requests from end users via telephone in a courteous manner
- Document all pertinent end user identification information including the nature of problem or issue
- Build rapport and elicit problem details
- Escalate problems or issues (when required) to the appropriate person and department
- Work with project management for advanced system implementation and onsite scheduling of resources
- Support onsite installation teams (contractors) for hardware and software
- Backup technical support while in office or not traveling to end-user site
- Lead and direct the work of others in the field on-site
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain product/equipment in the field
- Train end-users, contractors on software and hardware
- Identify and analyze product failures
- Order and replace product parts in the field as needed
- Determine certain software or hardware peripherals best fit installation scenario
