Robert Half is seeking a senior accountant with experience in the reinsurance industry. If you are interested in this position, please send your resume to russell.omer@roberthalf.com •Generate and distribute aging reports as directed.•Prepare and keep bank account cashbook up to date.•Prepare month end bank account reconciliations as requested.•Review AR Aging weekly for past due invoices and initiate client contact when necessary.•Maintain client records ensuring data integrity for both client and company records through careful data entry and review.•Prepare customer invoices, customer statements, and other reports as directed.•Perform past due account collection by telephone/writing.•Research disputed account balances and work closely with customers and internal team to resolve un-reconciled matters.•Reconcile incoming payments to accounts receivable ledger.•Working closely with the Underwriters, stay abreast of underwriting changes, which affect A/R; execute changes as necessary.•Coordinate billing process to ensure accounting procedures are executed properly and required documentation is up to date.•Review remittance advice from clients/brokers against system receivable and process as directed.•Review statements received against contract terms.•Review and monitor incoming premiums from local bank account.•Participate with internal audits.•Support month end closing processes at the beginning of each month.•Support all internal policies, and objectives following company guidelines and procedures.•Make bank deposits occasionally to local bank if needed.•Prepare and track tax exemption certificates for each applicable country and distribute to brokers in a timely manner.•Other duties as assigned.
