Job Description
•Maintain policies and programs to guide and direct functional activities in a manner consistent with Company objectives
•Maintains handbook on policies and procedures, all with direction from CEO/CFO
•Assist with Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Coordination; maintain the Affirmative Action Program, updating the Plan on an annual basis; assist in filing EEO-1 and VETS100- A reports; maintain other records to conform to EEO regulations
•Maintain the job classification and compensation programs, including, but not limited to the preparation, maintenance, and updating of job descriptions. (along with Senior Management)
•Maintain and monitor the performance evaluation program; assist with revisions as necessary
•Assist employees with group health and welfare plans and 401(k) plan (interfacing with Third Party Administrators as necessary) including employee eligibility; processing of enrollments, changes, terminations, claims; and answering or relaying inquiries to the proper resource
•Maintains all other employee benefit plans (Paid Time Off, Employee Assistance Program, etc.)
•Assists with all aspects of worker’s compensation incidents and follow up, including recording on the OSHA 300 Log, if applicable
•Coordinate hiring process by recruiting for open positions with a focus on ensuring compliance with governing laws and regulations while attracting quality candidates; assist hiring manager in the interview process
•Conduct new hire orientations and termination exit interviews. Facilitate/provide other HR-related training
•Maintain personnel, payroll and medical files, ensuring confidentiality, security, and proper records retention
•Answer HR and personnel-related inquiries from outside agencies, including Unemployment claims and employment verifications ▪ Investigate employee grievances/complaints and make recommendations to HR Director for action, based on findings
•Actively develop and maintain strong working relationships with all employees in an effort to gain trust, stay informed, and continually gauge morale
•Administer all aspects of payroll processing in an accurate and timely manner
•Assist in preparation of payroll tax filings and W-2 forms, in accordance with Federal and State Wage and Hour laws, IRS regulations, and other applicable laws, rules, and regulations
•Perform other duties as assignedOnboarding, Benefits Payroll, Open Enrollment
