Description Digital Asset Specialist Digital Publishing Specialist is responsible for facilitating digital asset upload and downloads. This role will review and edit assets, assign appropriate taxonomy and usage rights metadata to assets, and convert items to the desired format. The Digital Asset Specialist works with the digital publishing and content team to ensure the integrity of metadata, and properly catalog them to make them easy to find on the portal.
Assets include photos, video, blog posts, patient testimonials, news articles and other similar collateral. The essential responsibilities and accountabilities of this position including interactions with other departments and outside vendors, if applicable, in PRIORITY order.) Digital Asset Managementbull Ensures timely and accurate asset migration to digital asset management system. bull Participate in data management clean-up and gap fill processes associated with complex contentbull Performing digital asset lifecycle maintenance activities, such as digital archiving and asset expirationbull Receive digital assets and perform quality control to ensure they comply with a variety of customer internal specifications.
Proactively coordinate corrections with internal creative team external agencies.bull Enforce adherence to file naming conventions, based on type of asset. Create, document, and train on new naming conventions as needed.bull Validate and update all asset metadata before uploading to the system to ensure accuracy and consistency.bull File assets according to established folder structure. Recommend changes to structure as business needs evolve.bull Publish assets to internal and external portals with appropriate access rights and in accordance with project timelines.bull Maintain taxonomy, metadata schema, metadata templates, and other standardization solutions.bull Follows content and publishing best practices, style guide standards, brand standards, and legal requirements in the content publishing process to assure quality and accuracy.bull Ensures asset management activities follow digital accessibility best practices and guidelines.bull Communicates daily with internal and external teams regarding project tasks status.bull Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required andor assigned as necessary.
Requirements Experience with workflow management tools a plus.bull Proficient in HTML, CSS, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and photo editing.
