DescriptionRobert Half Management Resources has an exciting opportunity in the Eastern Suburbs of Pittsburgh for a Controller. The Controller position is for a mid-sized construction business on an interim basis. We are looking for a hands on Controller who feels comfortable in a small office handling multiple functions within the organization.

The Controller will report directly to the business owner and work with a team of 3 additional finance staff. The Controller will be responsible for a number of accounting functions including general accounting, billing, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, retirement contributions, and tax reporting.The Corporate Controller's job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:• Coordinate all preparation of the financial statements• Approve all journal entries to be posted for non-reoccurring journal entries• Maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls for the organization• In-house payroll processing• Provide finance analysis as needed• 401K Contribution uploads and prevailing wage pension plansRequirementsThe requirements for the Corporate Controller role are:• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other related field• A CPA is a plus• 7+ years of experience• Strong technological skills working with a Construction ERP system (Viewpoint, Timberline, etc)• Proven ability with interpersonal, verbal and written communicationsIf you have the appropriate accounting background for the Corporate Controller please email Audrianna Mallon with an updated resume to Audrianna.Mallon@rhmr.com or call 412-338-8790.For additional information about interim and project- based accounting and finance job opportunities please also visit Robert Half Management Resources website at www.roberthalf.com/management-resources.
