Job Description

Our client is a progressive private wealth management firm that focuses on in alternative options and offers a wide range of services in the realm of finance and tax for their clients in the Omaha, NE area.

  • As a client service associate you will work directly with clients and the team to ensure the best client experience for current and prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain an effective working relationship with the Firm’s various custodians
  • Complete client service requests including movement of assets such as journal entries, fed wires, checks, money links, and other service requests as assigned
  • Stay current about custodial operations and procedures
  • Conduct onboarding activities for new clients
  • Schedule, prepare for and coordinate Advisor meetings with prospects and/or clients
  • Respond to client inquiries, research and address client service issues and/or problems, escalate when appropriate
  • Ensure client contact information is accurate, update when needed
  • Obtain appropriate account documentation, archive in Worldox, open new accounts, submit to custodian and follow up to ensure completion
  • Obtain appropriate documentation for account transfer requests, archive in SharePoint, submit documents to custodian and follow up to ensure completion
  • Maintain a good understanding of the firm’s relevant reporting systems and procedures
  • Schedule and prepare standard, as well as customized, reports for distribution to clients
  • Utilize firm’s CRM system to document client interactions, manage workflow, and capture important client information
  • Provide backup support for receptionist. Duties include; greeting clients, maintaining a clean and professional reception area, answering, screening and transferring calls, ensuring conference rooms are tidy and organized for the next client meeting, distributing mail, packages and other communication as necessary, ordering office supplies and managing office supply inventory
  • May place trades under the direction of the financial advisor
  • Other duties may be assigned
  • Superior Client service skills, ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong ability to prioritize, multi task, and work effectively under pressure
  • Highly organized with absolute attention to detail
  • Excellent time management, written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Prior experience in Financial Services industry desired, minimum of 1 year professional work experience
  • Proficiency in Outlook, MS Word and Excel recommended
  • Series 65 registration is desirable. If not licensed, must be willing to obtain Series 65 within first year of employment
  • Undergraduate degree is a plus
