DescriptionRobert Half Management Resources is seeking an interim Assistant Controller for an emerging company in the Beaverton area. This is projected to be a 4-5-month project with an opportunity for a long-term role. In this position, the Assistant Controller is responsible for financial reporting, consolidations, budgeting, planning and leadership.

We look forward to hearing from you!Responsibilities: Assist in managing all aspects of accounting Assist in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities and procedures relating to financial management, forecast, budget, and accounting. Oversee compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding finances and taxes Support the accounting team during the closing process to confirm deadlines are met Provide regular reporting on status of corporate finances Encourage implementation and certify adherence to accounting policies and procedures Maintain accounting standards within established policies and procedures Prepare cash flow forecast on monthly basis Maintain all contracts, leases, and other legal and financial records Coordinate and lead external financial audits Prepare specialize reports as requested management Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to participating in special projects, system improvements or ad hoc analyses/projects as assigned Backfill for Controller as appropriateRequirements Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or finance CPA strongly preferred 5+ years of relevant experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
