Job Description

As one of the nation's leading independent public safety communications consulting firm, for almost 40 years our clients have been supporting the federal government and civilian populations with reliable communications and continues to service the general population. With significant tenure within the organization, we are working with a leading engineering firm in finding their perfect Administration (Operations) Manager to take over all office administration and operations, while supporting senior leadership and department heads with client relations and assisting as a project liaison. Being our clients are focused heavily on the federal government, this Administrative Manager will hands on be involved with supporting the business development team, contract administration support, project coordination and client relations to ensure business is running smoothly. Acting as the face of the company, the ideal Administrative Manager we seek must be comfortable with Human Resource Administration and employee relations, and working closely with the outsourced accountant regarding bookkeeping, taxes, payroll and other basic accounting duties.

Education Requirements:

  • Associates degree in related field with 5 years of experience

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration with 3 years of experience


Additional Skills / Qualifications:

  • 7+ years Office Operations and Administration
  • Preferred Industries: Federal Government Contracting, Legal Industries, Public Accounting Firms, Engineering, Business Consultation, etc.
  • Professional Services experience strongly preferred
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently under limited supervision
  • Comfortable with Executive Support for 2+ executive members
  • Use of discretion when working with confidential or sensitive information
  • Human Resource Generalist experience and company communications
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks
  • Creative problem solving and strategic thinking skills with substantial business acumen
  • Experience working collaboratively across business development and operations
  • Adaptable to changing business requirements
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite applications
