Job Description
Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk on a short-term contract / temporary basis to become an integral part of a rapidly growing team at a company in the Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance industry. The Accounts Payable Clerk will update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, process checks, process expense reports, resolve A/P issues, and match, batch, and code invoices. We seek out ambitious professionals who are creators, leaders, and pioneers. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Toledo, Ohio area and will be a short-term contract / temporary position.


- Provide support during internal and external audits

- Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time

- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

- Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department

- Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling

- Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

- Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

- Implement full-cycle A/P

- Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail- Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

- Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

- Excellent attention to detail

- Customer invoices experience preferred

- Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

- Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
