Job Description
Play a critical part in a team environment as an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk in a thriving company. This short-term temporary position is offered through Accountemps. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. As the role progresses , more responsibilities will be assigned to the Accounts Payable Clerk. Located in Solana Beach, California, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term temporary position.What you get to do every single day- Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling- Perform full-cycle A/P- Provide customer service to internal business partners- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents- Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department- Facilitate internal and external audits as needed- Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis- Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed
