The Creative Group, a division of Robert Half, is seeking a versatile designer to join our full-time consulting practice in Los Angeles. We build websites, email and social campaigns, motion, video, presentation materials, and everything in between. We're looking to bring on an enthusiastic and creative print & digital multi-media designer. Our diverse clientele requires a diverse skill set:
Provide visual direction for print/digital design across:
o Email (creative/ad/media/marketing campaigns design & layout)
o Web/Mobile (banner ads, landing pages, mobile ads)
o Social (creative/ad campaign design & layout, GIFs)
o Brand (style guides, logo design, typeface design, templates)
o Print (flyers, sales & marketing collateral)
o Presentation (deck design, templates, guidelines)
o Product (e-comm, packaging design, launches, photography, & video)
Execute cohesive creative/ad campaigns across multiple channels (print/web/email/social)
Design responsive, cutting edge digital experiences for users across web and mobile devices
Seeking broad experience not limited to:
Use of color, illustrations, photographs, fonts, and layout to visually communicate
Asset creation for mock-ups, presentations, print, social, email & web materials
Management of multiple projects, with flexibility throughout revisions and a keen focus on detail
Adherence to creative strategy (including budgets and timelines) based on the project brief, creative criteria, brand attributes and shareholders expectations
Communicate effectively and meet tight deadlines
Design of creative assets, including illustrations, online collateral, packaging, marketing and other digital assets as required
Manage and maintain a consistent brand look and feel across all media
Organize and curate all digital assets needed for various projects
Maintain asset library (well labeled and sharable)
Maintain quality control for all content, layouts, photography, typography, illustrations
Assist with video production (shooting, editing, etc.)
Render color correct & retouch images, products, & displays
Concept & campaign experience across email, web (banners), social (graphics & GIFs)
Requirements
BFA in Graphic Design, Illustration, Advertising, Visual Communication or similar discipline.
3-5 years of print/digital design experience with a design studio, agency or digital media company
Must be proficient in both print and digital graphic design.
A clean visual aesthetic with attention to detail
Proficient ability to apply and perform graphic design skills, including drawing/sketching, typography, ideation, color theory, use of texture, spacing, and scale, visual presentation development and layout, illustration, strong composition, print and web production
Portfolio of work required that shows an understanding of design fundamentals stated above
Must be proficient in Adobe CC (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
Experience assisting in photo/video productions (knowledge of Premiere, After Effects preferred)
Experience with photography, videography, and video editing is a plus
Experience with animation/motion graphics is a plus
Experienced in responsive web design and proficiency in Sketch is a plus
HTML skills are a huge plus!
Hand drawing skills is a plus
Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
Familiar with G suite and Microsoft Suite.
Ability to work within both structured and non-structured team environments
Excellent computer knowledge for both MAC and PC environments
Packaging design (providing samples is a plus).
