The position of E-Banking Specialist provides primary customer support for all electronic banking services including online banking, bill pay and mobile check deposit. The position also supports business services (a.k.a. cash management services) which includes ACH Origination, Wire Origination, Positive Pay and Remote Deposit Capture. Support encompasses the set-up, training and troubleshooting of these products and services.
Prior banking experience required with 3-5 year’s work-related experience or training in electronic banking and cash management services preferred or college degree in comparable field of study.
Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation, core computer system, word processing, spreadsheet and specialty software programs.
The ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers and co-workers in writing, via phone and in person.
Provides electronic banking, cash management, operational and application support for all customers using these services. Support is provided primarily via phone and email. On occasion, on-site visits are necessary in order to assist with set-up of cash management services for business customers.
Provides exceptional customer service to all Bank customers and Bank staff. Works with Bank employees to coordinate addressing any customer concerns or questions. Provides support and guidance to Bank staff on electronic banking, cash management and daily deposit operations.
With the assistance and direction of the Department Manager, provides various staff training on electronic banking and cash management processes.
Assists the Department Manager as a liaison for e-Banking vendors such as Q2, FundTech, iPay and Data Trades (DCI).
Assists the Department Manager with reviewing and writing operations and electronic banking related procedures. Assists in implementing and monitoring electronic banking risk management controls.
Completes required initial certification and annual recertification and risk and compliance monitoring of all RDC, ACH Origination and Wire Origination users.
May interact and communicate with system experts and vendors on application issues and planned releases/upgrades.
Operates computer terminal or personal computer to process account activity, determine balances, and resolve problems within given authority. Responds to customer inquiries by telephone, email or other methods, as applicable, and answers questions and directs callers to proper Bank personnel.
