Marketing Specialist
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to help River Bank & Trust keep growing! If you're eager for your next challenge, this is the opportunity you've been looking for. The Marketing Specialist will assist the Marketing Director with the bank's overall marketing efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the marketing director with planning, implementing, and monitoring internal and external campaigns
  • Assist with the production of marketing materials and collateral
  • Help organize and coordinate events
  • Evaluate data and create reports on key metrics to monitor campaign efficiency and analyze trends
  • Create content for different platforms such as social media, website, and press releases
  • Provide administrative support for a variety of marketing tasks
  • Prepare miscellaneous reports/data to Management as requested
  • Special projects and/or other duties as assigned by Management

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred
  • Proficiency in Graphic Design
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of relevant marketing tools and applications
  • Portfolio of work, including social media post mockup, a blog post related to banking, and a print ad mockup

  • Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and complete annual compliance training applicable to the position

  • Travel to bank offices throughout Alabama as needed

Physical Demands:

This employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee will regularly sit; talk; hear; and use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee will occasionally stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb and balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Special vision requirements include close, distant, and peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work environment and physical demands are those of a standard retail branch setting.
