• 12+ years of experience in coding COBOL, IMSDB/DC, DB2, JCL
• Basic knowledge in using SAS.
• Have strong written, verbal, and interpersonalskills.

• Design/Architect web based applications.
• Propose/Provide solutions to complexrequirements.
• Resolve development and production issues

Scope:
Financial Information Services Agency and Officeof Payroll Administration (FISA-OPA) has a vacancy for a SENIOR MAINFRAMECOBOL/IMS DEVELOPER who will provide support of production and developmentenvironments for the New York city Payroll Management Systems (PMS) withinterfaces to NYCAPS, City Time and FMS.

Primary Responsibilities include: Performactivities related to technical design, coding and unit testing of enhancementsand defect corrections for PMS. Work will require strong Cobol programmingskills in an IMS DB/DC and DB2 environment, the ability to supportcurrent/ongoing development work, and the review/analysis of existing sofwareto assess impact of any required changes.

Education:
Bachelors or Master’s Degree in ComputerScience, Engineering or in a Technical/Business Discipline is required.
