Contractposition

RESOURCE QUALIFICATIONS

Theresource should meet the following minimum qualifications:

a. Associatedegree in an Information Technology (IT) related field.

b. Eight (8)years of technical experience in IT networking and network security.

c. Possessactive (i.e., not expired) certifications as follows:

(1) PaloAlto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA) Certification.

(2) CiscoCertified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise or Security Certification.

TheClient prefers resource(s) to have the following qualifications:

a. Ten (10)years of technical experience in IT networking and security.

b.Certifications issued within the last four (4) years as follows:

(1) PrismaCertified Cloud Security Engineer (PCCSE) Certification from Palo AltoNetworks.

(2) Palo AltoNetworks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) Certification.

(3) CiscoCertified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in Enterprise Infrastructure or SecurityCertification.

SCOPE OF WORK

1.Resource(s) shall be responsible for the following:

a.Proactively identifying organization requirements, and helping to design, andengineer implementations that best serve the needs.

b. Performingproject-based engineering, design, installation, and troubleshooting of datasecurity networks.

c. Providingassessment, design, and implementation services of data and secure networkingenvironments.

d. Developingcomprehensive graphical and text-based design documentation and effectivelymanaging the implementation process from design to acceptance.

e. Assistinginternal groups through capacity planning, maintaining, monitoring, and reviewing secure data communications networks.

f. Leadingmigrations or assisting a team of engineers who will migrate traditional/legacynetwork security platforms to current/next-generation technologies and exposecustomers to the full life cycle of defense in-depth solutions.

g. Assistingnetwork engineers in troubleshooting critical problems or threat remediationrelating to network security products.

h. Workingwith the engineering team to successfully implement configuration guidelines,change management, and standard operating procedures for secure networksolutions.

i. Leading,scheduling, providing guidance, and coordinating activities with other teammembers to resolve end-user problems promptly and accurately.

j. Generatingweekly status reports including project progress, key milestones, tasksaccomplished, etc.

k. Hostingweekly status meetings/calls with a team or on a needed basis.

l. Liftingpersonal computers, printers, scanners, and other equipment associated with astandard computer workstation.

m. Reportingas follows: (1) Weekly report communicating project progress and status,

(2) Weeklytime reporting on JIS-provided forms, and

(3) Anyadditional reports as assigned by the supervising manager.

RESOURCE(S)SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & CAPABILITIES

1. Resource(s)possessing the following preferred skills, experience, and capabilities:

a. Five (5)years of experience in the following:

(1) Palo AltoNetworks' next-generation firewall services.

(2) IntrusionDetection and Prevention with Palo Alto networks.

(3) ContentFiltering Palo Alto networks.

(4) VirtualPrivate Networks using Palo Alto network systems.

b. Four(4) years of experience in Complex switching, routing, wireless with CiscoSystems.

c. Three (3)years of experience in Reverse Proxies, Load Balancing with A10 networks.

d. Two (2)years of experience in Network Access Control - Cisco Identity Services Engine(ISE), Free Radius, and Access Control Lists (ACLs).

e. Generalexperience with the following:

(1)Implementing multifactor authentication solutions with Microsoft.

(2)Authentication standards - (802.1x) in wired and wireless applications.

(3) Scalablerouting protocols Enhance Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), OpenShortest Path Fist (OSPF), and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).

(4) EnterpriseData Center implementing Micro segmentation.

(5)Certificate Management, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).

(6)Vulnerability management using Nessus, NMAP, Windows, Unix, and Linux OS

(7) experiencewith Packet/Protocol Analysis using Opnet, Riverbed, Wireshark, and taps.

(8) Hands-onmid-expert level experience

f.Experience with Centralized Management using Panorama and SolarWinds,

g. Excellentverbal communication skills.

h. Ability tocommunicate effectively, and to establish and maintain effective workingrelationships with peers, end users and vendor development staff, as well asall levels of management and judicial personnel as necessary
