Job Description

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Clinician is responsible for overall delivery and implementation of each individual Client Treatment Plan. Attends Child and Family Team meetings and treatment team meetings. Completes assessments, Client Treatment Plan and reports as required by county and state Medi-cal/Medicaid requirements. This position reports to the Head of Service/Clinical Director at designated site.

We are hiring licensed Clinicians at locations throughout CA. If you're not yet licensed, this could be a great opportunity for you to gain your 3,000 supervised hours required for licensure in the state of CA.

Full and Part-Time Positions Available.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides individual, family and group therapy as indicated by program
  • Develops and oversees the completion of treatment on an individual, family and group basis. Services include: clinical assessment, service planning, individual, group, family and milieu therapies, counseling, case management, record keeping and service coordination with a multi-disciplinary
  • Develops expertise in differential assessment, treatment readiness and change model, and motivational interviewing.
  • Documents and assesses the effectiveness of specific interventions toward meeting the objectives and goals of the Needs and Services

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must posses a master’s level degree in a related mental health field and clinical license or seeing hours required for clinical license in CA.
  • One year of prior experience working in a residential setting for children/NMD, their families and/or the Juvenile Justice/Child Welfare
  • Ability to complete all pre-employment requirements including passing a criminal background check, drug screen, physical and TB test.
