The National Sales Account Executive is a self-starting inside sales professional who conceptualizes and implements various sales strategies while continuing to build sound marketing infrastructures to generate sales among both our core and new consumers for our week-long and weekend Tournaments. The National Sales Account Executive will develop new customers from referrals, prospecting lists, and outbound cold calling.
Participate in sales planning and execution strategies, including but not limited to direct sales calls, appointments, networking, database maintenance and client-based research.
Generate new leads through industry networking and prospecting new target markets.
Manage client relationships that ultimately spur revenue growth.
Work toward expanding organizational alliances and consumer base which create new target markets.
Communicate effectively over the phone and in-person.
Organize information in a meaningful manner.
Negotiate conversations and sales terms effectively.
Maintain strong customer-first focus.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sport Management, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of previous sales experience with a proven track record of success.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills are essential for this role.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills with strong sales techniques and customer service experience.
Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage numerous business relationships in a professional manner.
Collaborate with other staff members to strategize complementary opportunities.
Professional history of customer-oriented activity.
