CNO Test Engineer II

CNO Test Engineer IILocation: Hanover, MD (On-site)

Salary: $120,000.00 - $165,000 per year

Ring0 Technologies ("Ring Zero") is hiring a motivated CNO Test Engineer who is passionate about Cybersecurity. This position will be integrated into a cutting-edge Cybersecurity team and will be responsible for for supporting complex and challenging virtual machine testing environments.Security Requirement: US Citizen with an active TS/SCI w/Polygraph

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop operational test scenarios and produce test artifacts that provide suggestions regarding improvements to the development team.

• Develop test automation scripts using Python scripts that improve performance testing and aid in the reduction of time to market.

• Effectively communicate to the technical team, management, and the customer to keep all parties informed of progress, plans and potential problems

• Collaborate with other organizations and teams to thoroughly exercise the system and verify requirements are satisfied.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field, and 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience

• Development experience using Python, Ruby, or JavaScript.

• Experience working with and testing embedded systems.

• Knowledge of networks and IP subnets/routing is required.

• Ability to configure network interfaces, set IP addresses and subnets.

• Familiarity with signal analysis tools such as Wireshark.

• Familiarity with the Linux operating system.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Development experience using SmartBear.

• Familiarity with SVN or GIT version control systems along with an understanding of basic Configuration Management principles.

• Experience using the Atlassian suite.
