About The Role

The IT Support Specialist reports to the Director of IT and will play a vital role in assisting Rimports employees at multiple sites with a wide variety of technical needs and issues. Essential Responsibilities
Troubleshooting a broad range of PC Hardware and software issues for Windows and software issues for Windows and MacOS.
Perform hardware and software installations.
Setup, configuration and troubleshooting of printers and wireless/wired networks.
Assist employees with desktop, systems, applications, updates, printing and other issues.
Provides IT support over the phone and onsite.
Document service tickets and final resolutions.
Document and manage IT assets.
Be available to provide on call and weekend support when necessary.
Work with outsource IT group on projects and server support.
Work with multiple outside vendors.
A strong desire to learn and grow within the IT field.
Other duties as assigned.
At least 2 years of IT helpdesk experience
1+ years advanced troubleshooting of desktop OS and application issues.
Ability to install and manage Windows and Mac systems and software.
Advanced help desk skills and experience including remote client support.
Experience with Active Directory administration and other MS technologies.
Working knowledge of wireless/wired networks including hardware and administration.
Experience with printer installation and maintenance.
Strong communicator with excellent customer service skills and a friendly personality.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under limited supervision.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, challenging and dynamic work environment.
Must have integrity and be responsible with company resources.
Additional Skills/Experience
2+ years of IT related education at a technical college or university
Asset management and strong organizational skills
Experience with Cisco Meraki a plus.
Experience with Zebra printers and Bartender label printing software a plus.
Experience with door systems/camera systems a plus.
IT certifications a plus (i.e. A+, N+, CCNA, Microsoft, etc.)
